Personal Pronouns (Kata Ganti Orang) 

Personal Pronouns adalah kata ganti yang dikaitkan terutama dengan orang tertentu, dalam arti gramatikal.

A personal pronoun is a pronoun that is associated primarily with a particular person, in the grammatical sense.

Ketika membahasa "orang" dalam istilah tata bahasa, aturan berikut berlaku :

• Orang pertama, seperti dalam "I (Saya)"
• Orang Kedua, seperti dalam "You (Kamu)"
• Orang Ketiga, seperti dalam "It ( itu), Dia pr (She) dan Dia lk (He)"

Personal Pronouns dapat mengambil berbagai bentuk tergantung pada nomor (singular/plural). Mereka juga dapat mengambil bentuk yang berbeda tergantung pada kasus (case), jenis kelamin (gender), dan formalitas (formality). Kata ganti orang dapat merujuk pada benda (object), binatang (animals), atau orang (people).

Personal Pronouns memberi kita informasi berikut:

The person - Who is speaking?

The number - Is the pronoun plural or singular?

The gender - Is the pronoun feminime, masculine or neuter?

Personal Pronouns sebagai Subject Pronouns

Subject Pronouns adalah kata ganti apapun yang digunakan untuk mengganti kata benda umum atau kata benda yang tepat sebagai subjek kalimat.

Personal Pronouns as Object Pronouns

Object Pronouns adalah kata ganti apapun yang dipengaruhi oleh tindakan yang dikenakan subjek kalimat. Object Pronouns yaitu :me, you, him, her, it, us dan them.
